Shipping & Delivery Policy

Plough & Pantry Ltd
Last updated: 12 February 2026

Plough & Pantry Ltd sources fresh produce and food products from carefully selected independent farms and producers. We pack and deliver these products directly to customers within our local delivery areas.

1. Delivery Area

We currently deliver within selected postcode areas displayed at checkout.

If your postcode is outside our delivery zone, delivery will not be available.

Delivery areas may expand as our service grows.

2. Weekly Ordering Schedule

Plough & Pantry operates on a weekly pre-order system.

Orders must be placed before the weekly order cut-off time (Thursday at 6pm).

Orders placed after this time will automatically be scheduled for the following week’s delivery cycle.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh produce, orders cannot be amended or cancelled after the weekly cut-off time.

3. Delivery Day

Orders are delivered on Fridays unless otherwise stated.

Customers will receive confirmation once their order has been packed and scheduled for delivery.

Delivery times are estimated and may vary depending on route and operational factors.

4. Delivery Process

Orders are:

• Collected from selected farms and suppliers
• Packed by Plough & Pantry
• Delivered locally by our team

We take reasonable care to ensure all products are handled appropriately during packing and delivery.

Customers must:

• Provide accurate delivery information
• Ensure safe and reasonable access to the delivery address
• Provide instructions if authorising a safe-place delivery

5. Unattended Deliveries

If you authorise us to leave your order in a safe place:

• Delivery will be considered complete once the order is left at the specified location
• Responsibility for the goods transfers to you at that point

Plough & Pantry Ltd cannot be held responsible for spoilage, theft or damage after delivery has been completed.

Customers should refrigerate perishable items promptly after delivery.

6. Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

• Incorrect address details
• Lack of access to the property
• Unsafe delivery conditions

we may not be able to re-deliver the order and refunds may not be available.

7. Delivery Delays

While we aim to deliver within the estimated time window, delays may occur due to:

• Weather conditions
• Traffic disruption
• Supplier delays
• Operational circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Where possible, we will notify customers of any significant delays.

8. Product Responsibility

Plough & Pantry Ltd sources products from trusted farms and food producers who comply with UK food safety regulations.

Once products are collected and prepared for delivery, Plough & Pantry Ltd is responsible for their packing and transport.
